Billing authorities can award relief of up to 100% to non-profitmaking bodies.
This relief is at the discretion of the local authority and partially funded by council tax charge payers. The interests of those charge payers must therefore be taken into consideration when assessing an application for any relief.
To make an application for discretionary rate relief, please write Stroud District Council, Business Rates Department giving the following information about your organisation:
