Better Business for All
The Better Business for All initiative aims to help start up business become established and existing businesses develop and grow.
Stroud District Council is working in partnership with the Growth Hub at the University of Gloucestershire to help small and medium sized businesses better understand the regulations applicable to them.
Together we can provide practical advice and support to those starting up in business and to established companies looking for additional help. Regulatory support includes a range of topics including licensing; environmental protection; food safety and health and safety. We also run a range of low-cost training courses on food safety and health and safety.
What are Growth Hubs?
Growth Hubs are a central repository of information, business funding, advice and guidance for business.
The network of Growth Hubs are local public/private sector partnerships led by the Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs). They join up national and local business support so it is easy for businesses to find the help they need.
