A By-Election has been called for the Stroud Central District Ward Casual Vacancy. This seat will proceed to poll on Thursday 1 May 2025 in combination with the Gloucestershire County Council Election.

Stroud Central County Division Casual Vacancy 

A resignation has been received for the County Division Councillor for Stroud Central. Where a vacancy occurs within six months before the day in which they would've retired, an election shall not be held under Section 89 (1) of the Local Government Act 1972 and will be filled at the next ordinary election of Councillors on Thursday 1 May 2025.
