Rats - If you see evidence of rats in or around your property the earlier we can start a treatment the better. Rats breed very rapidly, spread diseases and can do a great deal of damage. Our pest control officers will survey the property and look for possible entry points and identify the best location to safely set traps and/or poison bait. These should be left undisturbed. The officer will discuss their findings with you and you should take reasonable steps to prevent rodents from gaining entry to the property and remove any open sources of food. Whilst our treatment can remove rats present at the time we cannot guarantee that they will not return in the future. Most infestations are resolved with 2 or 3 visits. Where rat or mouse infestations on domestic premises are due to the keeping of livestock (e.g. poultry) our commercial rate will apply and no reductions for people on benefits are applicable. |
£102.53 for up to 3 visits. (if further visits are required these will be charged at £36.38 per visit) If you are regularly troubled by rats you may find it cheaper to enter into an annual contract. Please call for a free quotation. *Customers on benefits |
Mice - Mice will leave a trail of droppings and urine everywhere they go and it is not unusual to see damage to food containers, wires and furniture if you have mice living in your home! Of course damage to wiring can lead to far more serious problems in the form of house fires. Our pest control officers will survey the property and look for possible entry points and the best location to safely set traps and/or poison bait. Whilst our treatment can remove mice present t the time we cannot guarantee that they will not return in the future. Most infestations are resolved with 2 or 3 visits. Where rat or mouse infestations on domestic premises are due to the keeping of livestock (e.g. poultry) our commercial rate will apply and no reductions for people on benefits are applicable. |
£102.53 for up to 3 visits. (if further visits are required these will be charged at £36.38 per visit) WE ONLY TREAT MICE IN BUILDINGS such as houses, sheds or garages. *Customers on benefits |
Wasps and Hornets - Wasps and hornets live in colonies, each colony is established in the spring by a Queen which makes a nest from a paper like substance made up of a combination of wood and saliva. The colony and nest grows continuously through the summer. Towards the end of the wasp season up to 10,000 wasps can come from a single nest. Our pest control officers will destroy the queen and the colony with insecticides. The nest will not usually be removed as it will not be re-colonised. Note: we may not be able successfully treat nests in inaccessible roof spaces or beyond the reach of our telescopic poles. |
£78.38 for a single nest and £25.36 for each additional nest treated at the same visit. If your “wasps” turn out to be “bees” we will not treat them but you may still be charged a call-out fee. *Discounts do not apply. |
Bees - Bees are not a public health pest and should normally be left alone. If you are troubled by swarming honey bees we may be able to put you in touch with a local bee keeper. |
|
Fleas - Most fleas in the home are associated with dogs or cats but they will feed on a wide range of warm blooded hosts including us. For every flea seen around the home, there are many more in various stages of development and an over the counter flea spray will not necessarily treat each of these stages. Our pest control officers will carryout a thorough inspection to identify the source and severity of the infestation and treat the effected areas with a residual insecticide. You must also treat the host animal(s) with a suitable veterinary approved product. |
£97.60 per treatment *Customers on benefits |
Cockroaches - Cockroaches are a surprisingly common household pest. Cockroaches often visit drains and sewers and will eat anything that has nutritional value, including excrement, the remains of dead animals and refuse so they readily transmit bacterial diseases. Some people may also be allergic to cockroaches. They are extremely secretive and quite severe infestations often go unnoticed for a long time. Cockroaches are notoriously difficult to eradicate as the insects are very good at hiding in cracks and crevices and reproduce at an incredible rate. Professional treatment is the only way to eradicate an established cockroach problem. |
£38.59 for a survey. We will complete a survey of your property and provide a quote (if you book a treatment, the survey fee will be deducted from your bill). *Customers on benefits |
Bed Bugs - Bed bugs are a parasitic insect that feed on warm blooded animals including humans. They often live in and around the bed and feed at night when you are sleeping. The main signs of an infestation are the red marks on skin from their bites and blackish spots on bed linen from their droppings. Bed bugs can be difficult to treat and we can only get rid of them if you play your part. |
£38.59 for a survey. We will complete a survey of your property and provide a quote (if you book a treatment, the survey fee will be deducted from your bill). *Customers on benefits |
Carpet beetles, Moths - Moths, beetles, bugs and other insects are not only annoying but some can be costly too in terms of the damage they can cause, we provide residual treatments that will fully eradicate your problem. |
£97.60 per treatment *Discounts do not apply.
|
Ants, Silverfish etc - Ants and Silverfish can be a nuisance but can often be controlled using DIY products. If you are still troubled by ants, by all means call in the experts. |
£97.60 per treatment *Discounts do not apply. |
Cluster Flies - Cluster Flies usually look for a warm place to hibernate throughout the winter months and homes in rural areas are usually more susceptible to infestation. From September onwards they cluster within roof spaces, window frames and sashes or any other spaces they find suitable. These flies are harmless, and do not carry any diseases that affect humans. We will need a safe means of access to the loft space. The treatment will only kill the flies that are present at the time and will not prevent the loft space becoming re-infested in future. For more extensive infestations an initial survey will be carried out and a quote offered at the time of the appointment. |
1 loft space £97.60 *Discounts do not apply |
