Local Development Scheme
The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is Stroud District Council’s programme for preparing planning policy documents for the District.
The latest LDS for the period 2017-2021 was approved by the Council’s Environment Committee on 14th September 2017 and updated on 15 October 2020.
The LDS sets out the current documents that make up the development plan for Stroud District and other relevant planning guidance.
It also sets out the documents that will be produced during 2017-21 to maintain an up-to-date development plan and other relevant planning guidance.
Please note that the Householder Design Guide (2007) and the Validation of planning applications (2013) SPA documents referred to in the Council’s Local Development Scheme (2017) are now out of date.
