12-month Resident Engagement Action Plan 

 What is this action plan?

The 12-month plan aims to enhance communication and collaboration between tenants and leaseholders of Stroud District Council (SDC) and the housing service. The goal is to ensure residents are well informed, actively involved in the decisions we make and have a voice in shaping policy.

Action Plan: 

  • Regular Meetings: Organise regular meetings with residents to discuss project updates, address concerns, and gather feedback. 

  • Staying in touch: Use a range of methods such as newsletters, letters, meetings, etc., to keep residents informed about the project's progress and upcoming events. 

  • Feedback Mechanism: Implement a feedback mechanism (e.g., suggestion boxes, in-person and online question & answer sessions, and online forms) to collect residents' input and address their concerns. 

  • Community Events: Host community events to foster a sense of community and encourage resident participation. 

  • Transparent Communication: Ensure transparent communication by providing clear and concise information about the project's goals, timelines, and progress.
