Bedford Street toilets are open

Published

Bedford Street public toilets in Stroud have reopened after a temporary closure.

High levels of bacteria were identified during routine sampling. However, a full laboratory analysis confirmed it wasn’t related to legionella, and posed no risk to public health.

This block, which is owned by Stroud District Council, is cleaned twice daily and was also deep cleaned before this reopening.

Standards of public toilets are very important which is why we have invited the British Toilet Association to visit and provide feedback so we can improve them further.
