Bedford Street toilets closure
Published
The public toilets at Bedford Street in Stroud, which are owned by Stroud District Council, have been temporarily closed. This is a precautionary measure after high levels of bacteria were found during routine testing. The bacteria identified is not legionella. There have been no reported cases of any infection.
Further testing and analysis is now taking place, and the appropriate measures will be taken once the results are known.
We will ensure the toilets are open as soon as possible, however the public’s safety is our primary concern.
